1. Acceptance and scope.

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of this website. By visiting the site, browsing products, or interacting with any feature, the visitor agrees to these terms. If the visitor does not agree, the visitor should leave the site. These terms apply to all visitors, whether or not they place an order. A visitor who places an order is also bound by the Terms of Purchase, which govern the transaction.

These terms do not create a partnership, joint venture, employer-employee relationship, or agency relationship between the visitor and the store. The visitor is an independent user of the site.

2. Permitted use of the site.

The visitor may view pages, read product descriptions, use interactive features as intended, and place orders. The visitor may download or print a reasonable number of pages for personal, non-commercial use in connection with shopping. The visitor may share links to the site through social media or email.

The visitor may not use the site for any unlawful purpose, to harm the site or another user, to interfere with the site’s operation, to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its systems, to scrape content at scale, to reproduce product descriptions or images for commercial use, or to frame the site within another commercial interface without written permission. The visitor may not use automated tools to place orders or to overwhelm the site with requests.

3. Intellectual property.

The text, design, layout, graphics, product photography, and organization of the site are owned by the store or used under permission and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. The visitor does not acquire any ownership interest by using the site. The visitor may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from site content except as expressly permitted in these terms.

Generic ingredient and product names—such as niacinamide, squalane, glycolic acid, body wash, body lotion, hair oil, or dry shampoo—are not claimed as trademarks. The store claims only the specific presentation, original text, and design of its pages.

4. User-generated content.

If the visitor submits a review, comment, photograph, or other content to the site, the visitor grants the store a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with the site and the store’s marketing. The visitor confirms that the content is original, that the visitor has the right to grant this license, and that the content does not infringe another person’s rights or contain unlawful material.

The store may remove user-generated content that violates these terms, that is misleading, or that the store determines is inconsistent with the site’s purpose. The store is not obligated to monitor user-generated content, but it may do so.

5. Product information and no medical or dermatological advice.

The site provides product information for general informational purposes. It does not provide medical advice, dermatological diagnosis, or treatment. Product descriptions and ingredient information are not a substitute for advice from a licensed healthcare professional. A visitor who has a skin condition, a scalp condition, is pregnant or nursing, or is taking medication should consult a qualified professional before using a product, particularly an acid-containing or essential-oil-containing formula.

Statements about sensory experience or traditional botanical use describe cultural and experiential context and do not constitute a claim that a product will produce a specific health outcome. Individual experiences vary.

6. Third-party links and services.

The site may contain links to third-party websites or may use third-party services for payment processing, analytics, or support. The store does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or actions. A visitor who follows a link to a third-party site does so at their own risk and should review that site’s terms and privacy policy.

The store’s use of a third-party service does not imply endorsement of that service. If a third-party service is unavailable, the store may not be able to process an order or respond to a support request through that channel; the store will provide an alternative where possible.

7. Disclaimer of warranties.

The site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the store disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The store does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that defects will be corrected.

This disclaimer does not affect the store’s obligations under the Terms of Purchase or the Refund Policy. A product that is defective is subject to the remedy described in the Refund Policy, regardless of this disclaimer.

8. Limitation of liability for site use.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the store is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the visitor’s use of the site, including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if the store was advised of the possibility of such damages. The store’s total liability for any claim arising out of site use is limited to the greater of the amount the visitor paid to the store in the twelve months preceding the claim or a nominal amount.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply. If a limitation is found unenforceable, the remaining limitations remain in effect.

9. Indemnification.

The visitor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the store and its officers, employees, and service providers from any claim, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of the visitor’s violation of these terms, the visitor’s misuse of the site, or the visitor’s violation of another person’s rights. This obligation survives the visitor’s cessation of use of the site.

10. Privacy and data use.

The visitor’s use of the site is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what information is collected and how it is used. By using the site, the visitor consents to the collection and use described in the Privacy Policy. A visitor who does not consent should not use the site.

11. Modifications to the site and these terms.

The store may modify the site, discontinue features, or change these terms at any time. When these terms are changed, the updated version replaces the prior version on the site. A visitor who continues to use the site after a change accepts the updated terms. The store may also change product offerings, pricing, and shipping terms; those changes are governed by the Terms of Purchase for orders placed after the change.

12. Termination of access.

The store may suspend or terminate a visitor’s access to the site if the store reasonably believes that the visitor has violated these terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a risk to the site or another user. The store may do so without prior notice. A terminated visitor may still be bound by obligations that arose before termination, including indemnification and limitation-of-liability provisions.

13. Governing law and severability.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the store is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory law in the visitor’s jurisdiction provides a different rule. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect, and the invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

14. Entire agreement for site use.

These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy and, for purchasers, the Terms of Purchase, constitute the entire agreement between the visitor and the store regarding site use. They supersede any prior communication regarding site use. A failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
